MAKE YOUR OWN BUD VASE

WHERE: Strawhouse wines, Boree Lane, Lidster NSW, 2800 Australia WHEN: Sunday 26th April 2pm-4:30pm

Come to Strawhouse tasting room for a mindful afternoon of hand building ceramics. You will be guided step by step through the process by Ruth Byrne, the maker behind BYRNT Ceramics. The Strawhouse tasting room is a picturesque location with views of the vineyard, surrounding hills and Mt Canobolas. With natural light streaming in the panoramic windows, it's the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 

What's included

All materials provided, including clay, tools and inspiration images

Your creations will be glazed and fired for you to collect (or posted for an extra cost)

A glass of Strawhouse wine and a shared grazing platter

Please bring an apron if you're worried about getting your clothes dirty.

Numbers are limited to 10 people creating an intimate and communal atmosphere.

More about your instructor

Ruth Byrne is an experienced ceramic artist and educator. She graduated from ANU Art School in 2009 where she majored in Ceramics. She has worked for almost 10 years as a Visual Arts and Ceramics teacher and for the past few years has begun to solely focus on her ceramics business and raising her daughter. She grew up in the Strawhouse and is excited to be back in Orange collaborating with her parents, Meg and Justin @ Strawhouse wines.
